Europa Casino Blackjack rules
In blackjack, you are playing against the dealer. The other players on the table really don’t matter to you. Your goal is to have a hand value that will beat the dealer’s without going over 21. If you make an exact total of 21, you automatically win. If your hand goes over 21, you “bust” and lose that round. If the dealer busts, all the remaining players win.
Card value in blackjack is determined as follows:
Cards 2-10 are worth their face value
Jacks, Queens and Kings are worth 10
Aces are worth either 1 or 11
Playing Europa Casino Blackjack
Players place their bets to start a round. Once all the wagers are placed, two cards will be dealt face up to each player. The dealer also gets two cards, one face up and one face down.
If your two cards total 21, then you have a blackjack and you automatically win. However, if the dealer also has a blackjack, you won’t win the pot but your bet is returned to you.
If your two-card total is less than 21, you have several ways to play your hand.
Stand: Standing means that you are playing your current set of cards against whatever the dealer winds up with.
Hit: If you want to raise your card total to get closer to 21, click “Hit” to get another card. Keep clicking “Hit” until you are satisfied with your card total but be careful not to go over 21 or you’ll bust.
Split: If you are dealt with a pair of Queens, Jacks or Kings, you have the option to split and play them as separate hands. When you split, another bet equivalent to your original bet will be automatically placed.
Double Down: After receiving your first 2 cards, you have the option to double down, or double your original bet. After doubling down, you will receive one more card and then you have to stand.
Insurance: You have the option to buy insurance if the dealer’s up card is an Ace. With insurance, you won’t lose your bet if the dealer ends up with a blackjack.
Blackjack has become the most popular card game on the planet because it’s easy to learn and exciting to play. And with Europa Casino Blackjack, you won’t be betting entirely on chance and you don’t need to be highly skilled either.
